Smarter Workflow Central Fill and Central Processing streamline prescription workflow. Reduced administrative tasks allow pharmacists to spend more time counseling and caring for patients. Average script volume is 500 per day per store. What You'll Do As a relief pharmacist, you are supporting across stores in a dedicated footprint and set driving radius. Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications. Deliver exceptional patient care through counseling, education, and medication management. Build positive relationships with patients, healthcare providers, team members, and leadership. Mentor, coach, and develop pharmacy technicians while fostering accountability and teamwork. Lead pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge. Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations, where permitted by state law. Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and all state and federal pharmacy regulations. Prioritize workflow while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. Promote pharmacy initiatives, wellness programs, and clinical services that improve community health. Support continuous improvement and contribute to the growth of the pharmacy. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). Current pharmacist license. Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana). Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment and patient counseling skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities. Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations. Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and developing others.
