Available Shifts 1st - Monday to Thursday from 5:00am - 3:30pm 2nd - Monday to Thursday from 5:00pm - 3:30am 4th - Friday to Sunday from 5:00am - 5:00pm Pay $29.35/hr. with night shift differential of $2/hr. Pay increase at 90-day and 6-month anniversary. At Valmont, Fitters play a vital role in bringing our products to life. You’ll work on the structural foundation of the steel components that support infrastructure across the globe — from utility poles and communication towers to lighting and transportation structures. Your attention to detail, ability to read prints, and commitment to quality help ensure everything we build is strong, aligned, and built to last. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full Total Wellbeing benefits package (listed below) Consistent full-time hours with shift differentials where applicable Opportunities for growth in welding, fabrication, and leadership A clean, safety-first environment where your work is respected What You’ll Do Laying out, aligning, and fitting steel parts according to blueprints and shop drawings Tack welding components prior to final weld Measuring and verifying dimensions for accuracy Operating overhead cranes and hand/power tools safely Maintaining a clean, organized work area Following all safety protocols and contributing to a high-performing team We’re looking for detail-oriented, dependable tradespeople who are ready to make an impact. Ideal Candidates Have 1+ year of layout or fitting experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and layout tools Familiarity with tack welding and fabrication processes Experience using overhead cranes, grinders, and cutting tools High school diploma or GED required A strong safety mindset and pride in quality workmanship Your Work Has Purpose From lighting city streets to powering rural communities, the products you help build directly support everyday life.
