Medical Sales Representative - Acute Care

Job Summary Our Medline Acute Care sales team serves as the main interface for various segments in the hospital such as OR, Cath Lab, ICU, Labor and Delivery, Emergency Department, Materials Management and C-suite. Job Description Responsibilities Calling on hospitals within assigned territory to sell products such as exam gloves, durable medical equipment, incontinence products, OR kits, plastics, skin care products, textiles, bathing systems, gauze, packs and gowns, protective apparel, surgical trays, advanced wound care, surgeons' gloves and other items used in hospitals. Making sales presentations to multiple decision-makers leading to product and program sales. Establishing and nurturing client relationships by developing strong relationships with key decision makers. Presenting and selling new products while maintaining existing business. Team building among peers to ensure collaboration across the continuum of care. Use leadership skills to close deals. Preparing bids and price quotes. Occasional cold calling with intent to develop new markets. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commission-based, full-cycle sales, OR at least 5 years of such experience. Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment. Ability to present multiple product lines. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word and Outlook. Must be able to drive a car, travel in it 90% of the day, and interact with healthcare providers on site. Compensation and Benefits Anticipated compensation includes a minimum of $125,000 in guaranteed earnings for the first year, with commission ranging between 0–4% of net sales paid. This role is bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off and other standard benefits for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
