Join Aegis Worldwide as a Manufacturing Controls Electrician

You start your day on the production floor in Greencaste, IN , walking past automated cells and conveyors that keep an automotive operation humming. On this 1st SHIFT , full-time role, you’ll earn $30–$35/hr as you keep power flowing, machines running, and production on target.

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with an automotive manufacturer. In this environment, you will be the go-to expert for both power and controls, ensuring equipment reliability and safe operations.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across machinery and industrial equipment on the plant floor.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose controls and power issues involving PLCs , VFDs , motors, control circuits, and automated machinery.
• Execute preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and sustain efficient plant performance.
• Read and apply blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to complete accurate repairs and installations.
• Work confidently with 480V three‑phase power, wiring, and conduit while following strict safety standards.
• Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of new machinery and production equipment.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, control circuits, and automated equipment.
• Deep knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 480V three‑phase power.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance practices.
