Requirements:

  • Prior employment in a driving position with a United States federal law enforcement agency is mandatory
  • Candidates must be able to document that professional driving was a significant component of their federal law enforcement duties
  • Experience in protective driving, dignitary transportation, secure transportation, motorcade operations, surveillance driving, operational driving, or another comparable federal law enforcement driving assignment is strongly preferred
  • Applications from candidates whose backgrounds are limited to state, county, municipal, military, private-security, rideshare, taxi, limousine, or general chauffeur driving will not be considered unless they also possess the required federal law enforcement driving experience
  • Exceptional driving skills and a demonstrated record of safe vehicle operation

  • Strong punctuality, reliability, judgment, and attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise complete discretion
  • Comfortable operating a variety of passenger vehicles, including luxury sedans, SUVs, and vans
  • Working knowledge of navigation systems, traffic applications, hands-free communications, and vehicle technology
  • Ability to assist with luggage and packages and perform routine physical tasks associated with passenger transportation
  • Current defensive-driving or protective-driving certification preferred
  • Current CPR/AED certification preferred
  • Outstanding professional references from current and previous employers
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation, driving-record review, and any other required screening
