As Senior Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack, you will own one or more of Archer's internally developed engineering applications: systems of record that engineering teams rely on to manage critical, configuration-controlled technical data across product releases. You will develop the application, run it as a production service, and support the engineers across several disciplines who depend on it every day.What You'll Do:Develop, maintain, and extend one or more C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) Blazor web applications with a layered Domain/Application/Infrastructure architecture and a schema-driven data modelOwn the full development lifecycle - feature development, bug fixes, code review, testing, release, and technical documentationBuild and maintain importers and exporters for data, including SysML (Cameo) model ingestion, CAN DBC import, and ICD report generationAdminister your applications as production services: deployment, monitoring, backups, upgrades, user access, and protected-branch policiesOwn the CI/CD pipeline and the application's Git-based configuration control model: branching, tagging, merges, and release/hotfix workflowsCreate/maintain integrations with other enterprise tools such as Jira, Cameo, Polarion and coordinate ICD data flow from the MBSE model to downstream avionics software, hardware, and integration test consumersTriage and resolve user-reported issues and data-integrity problems, with heightened availability around ICD release and hotfix windowsPartner with Systems Engineering to translate ICD change requests into correct, traceable tool updatesProduce user documentation, release notes, training, and operational runbooks for the user communityWhat You Need:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production-grade C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) developmentExperience with Blazor or a comparable modern component-based web UI frameworkComfort working in a layered / Domain-Driven Design architecture and evolving a schema-driven domain modelSolid Python scripting for data import, processing, and automationHands-on experience with Docker-based build and deploymentDeep Git proficiency: branching, merging, tagging, protected branches, pull-request and release workflows (Bitbucket)Experience maintaining and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines and/or TeamCity)Ability to independently own a mission-critical internal application from feature development through production operations, and to communicate clearly with a technical engineering user baseHands-on experience using Claude Code (or comparable AI coding agents) to generate, refactor, test, and document production code.Bonus Qualifications:Working knowledge of avionics data buses (ARINC 429, ARINC 664/AFDX, ARINC 717, CAN, RS-422, analog, discrete) and Interface Control Document conceptsAerospace or regulated-industry experience, including configuration management and change-control disciplineExperience with MBSE/SysML tooling (Cameo) and model-based interface definitionsJSON/structured schema design and validation for interface dataExperience building plugin/extension architectures or application authentication/SSO integrationComfort with AI-assisted development workflowsAt Archer, we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent with the skills and leadership needed to grow our business.
