Loan Scanning Specialist

Job Summary This position's primary duties are to scan and index all loan documents, conduct post‑closing reviews, track exceptions, and file collateral documents. Essential Functions Ensure that loan documents are scanned and indexed in accordance with bank guidelines and that all documents are properly executed. Review TE's (technical exceptions) upon scanning of documentation, research and clear them when applicable. Perform limited post‑closing review for necessary documents. Maintain original bank‑defined documents. File lien entries, UCC and EFS financing statements. Work on existing UCC and EFS TE's and other TE's as assigned. Handle moderately complex issues/problems and refer more complex ones to senior staff. Assist with training other employees in the department. Communicate well with various levels of staff. Provide support for other functions or roles. Additional Functions Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements (Education, Experience) High School Diploma Knowledge, Skills and Abilities The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Working knowledge of computer systems; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Good organizational and time‑management skills. Strong sense of customer service. Strong attention to detail. Good problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Flexibility and ability to multi‑task. Physical Requirements This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities: Sitting for long periods; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity. Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment). Working Conditions Normal office environment.
