Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2132.48/week -

Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse in the Operating Room provides specialized perioperative care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures. This role involves circulating and scrubbing in a fast-paced, outpatient-focused environment with a team dedicated to delivering high-quality surgical services.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and organize operating rooms for scheduled procedures.
  
  
• 
  Circulate and scrub during surgeries, ensuring adherence to sterile protocols and safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to intraoperative needs.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information in Cerner EMR.
  
  
• 
  Support post-operative care in Phase I/PACU, ensuring safe patient recovery.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all facility policies, including dress code and shift requirements, during scheduled hours.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid state nursing license with current credentials.
  
  
• 
  Minimum 25 years of RN experience, including scrub and circulate duties in surgical settings.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in small OR facility environments.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated proficiency with Cerner EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Must have recent Phase I/PACU and multiple surgical experience.
  
  
• 
  Cataract surgery experience is non-negotiable; surgical experience in related specialties is highly preferred.
