Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, providing therapy directly within patients' homes, which requires adaptability and creativity in treatment methods. You will work 40 hours per week, potentially including variable weekends, to accommodate our patients' needs. Our therapy team is equipped with the latest technology and methods to facilitate optimal patient care, ensuring a nurturing environment for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with functional impairments and create personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, document patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on evaluations and outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to discuss and coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
  • Engage in community outreach and marketing activities to promote awareness of our services and to foster relationships with local healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, encouraging active participation in treatment plans and recovery processes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation following regulatory and professional standards and ensure all necessary billing is submitted for services rendered.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff and participate in the continuous quality improvement and training programs offered by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals with orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, and age-related mobility challenges. This setting requires sensitivity and adaptability to different cultural backgrounds and age groups, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and meet our high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure in Physical Therapy.
  • Two or more years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in evaluating and implementing treatments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer applications to manage documentation and communication efficiently.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years experience is required, candidates with experience in home care settings or specific knowledge in pediatric or geriatric therapy will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and continuing education in specialty areas of physical therapy are also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance.
