IT Pharmacy Consultant

IT Pharmacy Consultant Location: Gratiot, OH Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Current Ohio Pharmacist License. Three years of acute care and retail pharmacy experience. Four years of related work experience in system administration, systems analysis/design, computer system project management, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Extensive knowledge of nursing department operations and interdepartmental relations. Knowledge and experience with accreditation standards. Experience with large enterprise clinical system projects and clinical information system software. Epic certification or Epic implementation experience. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail. Hours and Compensation Full-time position. Annual salary range: $51.93/hr (108K) – $71.49/hr (148K), based on experience. Full benefits package offered. Responsibilities Coordinate corporate management efforts in defining organizational goals and develop systems and procedures to achieve these goals. Work with the Pharmacy department, nursing units, ED, and other clinical departments to identify needs, select and acquire systems, and develop plans that improve profitability, effectiveness, and efficiency. Coordinate all facets of nursing and related clinical applications for the facility’s information systems. Act as a liaison between IT, pharmacy, nursing, clinical departments, department directors, IS, and the medical staff. Provide management and oversight of the clinical system–based inpatient and ambulatory drug formularies. Manage pharmacy and closed‑loop medication management and related clinical applications for the facility’s information systems. Report to the IT Manager, Ambulatory and Pharmacy Applications, and collaborate with the team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
