In this role, you'll manage a diverse caseload, including treating skin reactions, vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and other complex wounds. You'll perform advanced treatments such as debridement, bioengineered skin applications, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and skin grafting, all while educating patients and their support systems on effective wound management techniques. Your expertise will help prevent wound complications and promote optimal healing outcomes. This locum position offers flexible coverage from December 22, 2025, to March 31, 2026, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and impact patient lives.


Required Skills

• Proven experience in wound care management, including complex ulcer treatment and wound dressing techniques
• Proficiency in wound documentation and use of electronic medical records, particularly Epic
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to develop comprehensive wound treatment plans
• Knowledge of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and other advanced wound treatment modalities
• Excellent patient education and support skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Nice to Have Skills

• Certification in wound care nursing or related specialties
• Experience with hyperbaric oxygen treatment supervision
• Prior work in outpatient clinical settings
• Familiarity with trauma level standards (though not mandatory)

Preferred Education and Experience

• MD or DO trained with board certification in relevant specialty areas
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in wound care or vascular medicine
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus

Other Requirements

• Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
• Ability to obtain temporary privileges at Clermont Hospital
• Willingness to travel to Batavia, Ohio, and work in an outpatient clinic environment
• Coverage dates: December 22, 2025 March 31, 2026
• Facility covers travel, lodging, and related expenses
