Surgical Technologist - Part-Time Contract

Location: Redmond, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x8 Hour Shift: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM, typically Tuesday through Thursday (flexibility may be available).

Job Description: We are seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room at an Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in a general OR setting and possess skilled knowledge in various surgical procedures, particularly in ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, and podiatry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments.
• Facilitate smooth and efficient operations through effective communication and teamwork.
• Handle scopes and fiber optic equipment, ensuring proper care and functionality.
• Conduct case cart preparation and assist in emergency management protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1 year of experience as an OR Surgical Technologist in a general OR setting.
• CST certification is mandatory.
• Knowledge and skills in various surgical procedures including but not limited to:
• ENT Procedures: Direct Laryngoscopy, Endoscopic sinus procedures, Tonsillectomy.
• General Surgery: Hernia repairs, laparoscopic assisted procedures.
• Orthopedic Surgeries: ACL Reconstruction, Total hip and knee replacements.
• Podiatry Procedures: Bunionectomy, Ankle fusion.
