Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including financial statement preparation and reconciliations
• Oversee grant, fund, and contract accounting to ensure accurate tracking and compliance reporting
• Prepare complex journal entries, allocations, and month-end reporting for executive leadership
• Partner with external auditors and support annual audit and compliance requirements
• Supervise and mentor a small accounting team including a Fiscal Clerk and Staff Accountant

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with strong accounting experience
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including nonprofit, grants, or fund accounting
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end close, and Excel required
