Inventory Specialist

Job Description

The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring optimal stock levels, and supporting supply chain operations. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth inventory processes.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile results with system records
Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to streamline stock replenishment
Update and maintain accurate inventory databases and documentation
Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements
Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues
Prepare reports related to inventory status and movements for management review
