Work Environment\n This role will primarily be conducted in a remote outpatient office environment, allowing you the flexibility to meet with clients virtually from the comfort of your own home while ensuring you adhere to the highest standards of care and professionalism. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the expectation of occasional evening or weekend hours based on client needs. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and underlying factors of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health history. \n Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that honor their unique goals and preferences while addressing their mental health conditions. \n Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective treatment for mood disorders. \n Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and their treatment options, empowering them with viable self-care strategies and coping mechanisms. \n Monitor client progress on an ongoing basis, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to foster optimal outcomes. \n Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. \n Stay current with emerging research and methodologies to continually refine therapeutic practices and improve client outcomes. \n Maintain meticulous records of client sessions, adhering to legal and ethical standards for documentation. \n Engage in case consultations and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay on the cutting edge of best practices in mood disorder treatment. \n Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders, aiming to reduce stigma and improve access to care. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The therapist will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our clientele is diverse, consisting of adults from different backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, all seeking support to navigate their mental health challenges. Your role will be instrumental in helping clients identify their strengths and develop effective coping strategies to enhance their overall well-being. Qualifications\n \n Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas. \n Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship. \n Preferred Experience\n \n A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred. \n Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT. \n Working knowledge of psychopharmacology to collaboratively engage with psychiatrists and other professionals. \n Demonstrated success in delivering positive treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a sign-on bonus.
