Safety Ambassador

Pay Range: $20.00 to $20.00 per hour (Weekly Pay & Pay Advance Before Payday!)

Shift/Schedule:

• Thu. - Mon. from 3:30pm to 12:00am
• OFF Days = Tues. & Wed.

FL Class D Security License REQUIRED

Valid FL Driver's License PREFERRED

What You'll Be Doing:

• Patrol the assigned zone on foot and/or bike as a deterrent and be on the lookout for unwanted behavior and activity.
• Provide information, assistance, and directions to pedestrians and visitors. Must maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
• Be watchful for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to local authorities via established communication methods. Must be able to articulate an accurate description of persons, vehicles, and other identifiers.
• Firmly and courteously request compliance to persons violating low-level quality-of-life crimes, such as panhandling, loitering, disruptive behavior, etc.
• Actively acknowledge and engage pedestrians with a friendly greeting/smile in order to provide directions and city information.
• Responsible for making a specified number of visits to zone businesses to share information and gather contact information.
• Must be able to complete basic daily reports of tasks completed which requires being proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language.

Requirements:

• Experience required. We will train.
• FL Class D Security License required.
• Must have a H.S. Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have the physical capacity to walk or traverse (including riding a bike) continuously during an eight-hour shift, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions (free uniforms provided)
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English in order to create basic reports.
