What You'll Do:

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiology and radiology procedures within a busy combined IR/Cardiology lab
• Scrub, circulate, and assist during complex IR and cardiology cases, including telemetry and implantable device procedures (PPM, ICD)
• Support urgent/emergent procedures such as STEMI interventions and interventional radiology treatments
• Follow facility protocols for medication administration (performed by RNs)
• Collaborate with a team of professionals, including ARRT-certified staff, to deliver top-quality patient care
• Maintain readiness for call requirements, including scheduled call days and weekend coverage

What You Need:

Required:

• ARRT or RCIS certification (ACLS and BCLS required)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in electrophysiology, IR, or related specialties
• Ability to scrub, circulate, and assist with IR/cardiology procedures
• Comfortable working in adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must have IR experience (90% of duties)

Preferred:

• Additional certifications such as RCES, ARRT Advanced Cert, or Med Experience
• Experience with specialized equipment such as GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Inari, Impella, and ultrasound units

This position involves supporting complex cardiac implant procedures, IR interventions, and diagnostic imaging, with a focus on adult and geriatric care. The unit operates on a 13-week contract basis, with no holiday RTO permitted; technicians start directly on Mondays until trained for specific procedures.
