Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote setting, providing flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining the structure needed for effective client care. While the standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, occasional evenings or weekends may be necessary to accommodate client appointments and practice demands.   • Manage a personalized caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering mutually respectful relationships while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

  • Conduct regular sessions with clients, consistently reviewing progress, stability, and addressing future appointments or discharge plans when appropriate.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, prioritizing clients’ unique needs and preferences in the therapeutic process.

  • Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements.

  • Perform comprehensive intake assessments to understand client history and formulate effective treatment strategies.

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions, employing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the dynamic needs of clients.

  • Engage in regular individual supervision and professional development sessions to enhance your skills and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will primarily support adults, children, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. The clinic’s emphasis on creating a safe and supportive environment means that clinicians are encouraged to develop strong therapeutic alliances, thereby enhancing client engagement and outcomes. By working closely with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care, the LPC will also have access to a network of resources to better support client needs.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

  • Current and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, unrestricted and independent.
  • \n
  • At least two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, specifically focused on providing psychotherapy services.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer systems, including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY, to manage client records and documentation.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
  • \n
  • Comfort with completing thorough intake assessments to determine client needs and facilitate effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience working with diverse populations, particularly those affected by trauma or with co-occurring disorders, will be advantageous. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, complemented by a robust benefits package. We operate on a Fee-for-Service model, allowing for guaranteed payments ahead of client collections, thus ensuring financial stability for our clinicians. Additional compensation includes opportunities for bonuses based on performance metrics.
