General Education Teacher

Description As a General Education Teacher, you will develop lesson plans and proficiently deliver curriculum using available digital teaching methods educational model that is aligned with state standards. Our classroom sizes range from 8-12 students with a 6:1 student-to-staff ratio, including 1-2 direct care professional staff members in the classroom for additional support. Teachers assess student performance objectives on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required. Our Teachers have immediate access to school support staff, teaching materials and supplies, and a state of the art database with tracking capabilities to help with data accumulation. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field Arizona General Education Certification (or AZ Elementary and/or Secondary Teacher Certification, or K-12 General Education Certification) Understanding of learning theories related to working with multiple handicapped individuals Other Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards) Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable) Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results Ability to attend full time, paid, New Hire Orientation for two weeks Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions).
