Level 1 Medication Aide

Bethany Care Center is currently seeking Level 1 Medication Aide(LIMA) to join our team.

***NIGHT SHIFT**** DAY SHIFT***

Duties and Responsibilities: Preparing medications for patients Administering various types of medication throughout the day Recording every dose of medication administered Observing patients to look for changes Notifying nurses about changes or medical issues with patients Following all safety protocols Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift Help Residents with personal hygiene Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements Making the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy Assist other staff in other departments as needed Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data Skills and Qualifications: Written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Knowledge of medical terminology and conditions Ability to prepare medication doses accurately Patient, calm demeanor Strong problem-solving skills Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Long-Term and Short-Term Disability Vacation and Paid Sick Time 401K #J-18808-Ljbffr Sonshine Manor
