Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specialized in Emergency Room/Emergency Department for a travel assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role is situated in a high acuity unit where you will manage a diverse patient load, including strokes, cardiovascular cases, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis cases. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• BLS certification required from AHA
• ACLS certification required from AHA
• PALS certification required from AHA
• CPI Blue Card required
• TNCC required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
