You'll take end-to-end ownership of high-impact analytics, turning complex data into clear insights and recommendations that improve repayment rates, optimize collection costs, and help the business identify emerging risks and opportunities. Partnering with stakeholders across Zip and our external collections partners, you'll have the opportunity to influence high-visibility initiatives, test and learn from new approaches, and see your analysis translate into meaningful action for both our customers and the business.Interesting problems you'll get to solveLead the analytics on initiatives to improve repayment rates in the short term and long term and optimize collection costs.Develop insights capabilities to monitor performance and proactively identify trends, anomalies, and emerging risks.Identify optimization opportunities in Zip's external debt collections strategy, monitor agency performance and work closely with the vendors.Enjoy end to end ownership of your analytics and get the chance to work in an exceptionally collaborative environment.Partner closely with key stakeholders across the organization to drive high visibility strategic initiatives.Identify and drive opportunities to leverage AI to improve collections decision-making, automate insights, and optimize customer and business outcomes.What you'll bring to the team5+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Fraud Risk, or Collections, with expert SQL skills and a passion for analyzing data in the Risk domain.Candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience and an advanced degree may also be considered based on the depth and relevance of their experience.Proven analytics experience working as a risk/data analyst. Prior experience in the finance or lending industry preferred.You are data-driven, eager to understand the numbers and provide meaningful insights. You can influence decision makers with a proactive approach to drive results and improvements across the business.Advanced knowledge of SQL is a must, knowledge of Python or PySpark is preferred. The actual base salary will be determined by various individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, internal equity, as well as other objective business considerations.The annual base Pay Range for this position is $116,000 - $140,000. This range reflects our US national compensation band (USN).
