Principal Technical Program Manager, DynamoDB

Capacity management is a continuous control system connecting customer demand, engineering priorities, infrastructure constraints, and operational execution. As a Principal TPM for this position you will own strategic programs that will impact AWS wide goals, executive reporting, and cross-organizational coordination with Finance, Solution Architects and EC2 capacity management organization.Success is measured through efficient fleet utilization, resilient operations, and the ability to make capacity management an invisible capability that enables DynamoDB's infinite growth.Key job responsibilitiesHow can you tell if you’re the right fit for this role? You will have the opportunity to work closely with service teams, infrastructure, and business development to design and deliver new features in front end services areas. You will assess risks, anticipate issues, overcome technical obstacles, make difficult trade-off decisions, and balance business needs and technical constraints. In this role, you will interact with teams and leaders across Amazon. You will affect AWS growth directly and deliver major new capabilities for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
