Project Overview:
The Health Care Management and Coordination System (HCMACS) Program is a Washington State multi-agency initiative implementing Epic EHR across the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA), Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), and Department of Corrections (DOC), in partnership with Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech). Epic will be deployed under the Orchard hosted model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and implementation of the HCMACS EHR Program across agencies.[cite: 1]
• Coordinate stakeholder communication and program governance activities.[cite: 1]
• Manage risk, timelines, scope, and program performance metrics.[cite: 1]
• Support cross-agency collaboration and change management planning.[cite: 1]
• Represent program in executive and external stakeholder forums.[cite: 1]

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience managing large-scale healthcare or IT programs.[cite: 1]
• Degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field.[cite: 1]
• Experience with Epic, state-level health policy, and vendor coordination.[cite: 1]
• Knowledge of Agile, PMBOK, and federally funded project environments.[cite: 1]
• Strong leadership and communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups.[cite: 1]
• Note: Contractor staff assigned to agency facilities are subject to background check and site-access requirements.
