Business Development Manager Tax Incentives & Credits

Full Cycle Sales Role
Full-cycle sales role focused on helping businesses identify, qualify for, and monetize a broad range of tax incentives and credits, including R&D tax credits and other federal and county programs. The role involves a consultative sales approach, working directly with founders, CFOs, and finance leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
- Educating clients on tax incentives and funding opportunities
- Identifying qualified opportunities and collaborating with internal tax/technical teams
- Building and managing a pipeline of mid-market clients
- Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Required experience:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in tax incentives (R&D credits, cost segregation, energy credits, or similar)
- Proven ability to close deals and exceed sales targets
- Experience selling to senior decision-makers (CFOs, founders, controllers)
- Strong communication, discovery, and closing skills
Additional notes:
- Role requires strong consultative selling skills and ability to explain financial/tax concepts
