Job Duties

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and craft personalized therapy strategies that help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday tasks
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver thorough, person-centered care
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to clients and their families about therapy methods to encourage continuous progress in daily living
• Track Progress and Adapt Treatments: Document clinical results and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure patients are on the right path

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for continued education or additional certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is mandatory
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
