Substitute School Kitchen Positions

$16.63 per hour

Scope Of Responsibilities:

Subbing for Food Service staff by performing the daily kitchen operations, serving students and kitchen clean up.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must provide proof of a High School Diploma or accredited equivalency.

2. Must have an excellent attendance record, be reliable, friendly, courteous and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

3. Displays exceptional personal hygiene practices.

4. Able to follow verbal and written instructions. Able to read, write and do basic mathematical calculations.

5. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Display dexterity with hands.

6. Able to follow written recipe instructions (applies to FS-2, FS-3 or F-4 only).

7. Basic understanding of food safety/sanitation-Prior cooking experience preferred (applies to FS-2, FS-3, FS-4 only).

8. Has no misdemeanors within the past 5 years or any felony convictions.

9. Previous food service, cashiering and cooking experience is desirable.

10.Experience using commercial kitchen equipment is desirable.
