HII-Australia combines world-leading nuclear submarine and shipbuilding experience from Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Our primary locations are Canberra - ACT, Henderson - WA and Adelaide - SA , however roles are open to any Australian location. About you: Key Responsibilities Ideally, you will have demonstrated extensive engineering / technical delivery experience within the nuclear industry. You enjoy collaborating in a harmonious team environment with a passion for coaching, mentoring and skills development and exemplify a nuclear mindset. What You Need To Have 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field. Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent qualification. Extensive experience in any of the following areas of engineering within the nuclear industry: Submarine Plant Operations and Maintenance. Nuclear infrastructure delivery from concept design to active commissioning. Safety case definition, production, and substantiation. Health Physics / Radiological Protection / Supervision. Environmental monitoring. Be willing to live and work overseas in Australia for between 3 months and 3 years, depending on the role. Ability to obtain an appropriate Australian Visa. Ability to hold and maintain a US-based Defence Security Clearance.
