Position Summary Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Baptist HealthMedical Group – Birmingham, AL Locations: Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital 2018 Brookwood Medical Center Drive Birmingham, AL 35209 Baptist Health Princeton Hospital Baptist Health Shelby Hospital Schedule & Call Full-time position Rotating call schedule , including nights, weekends, and holidays Shared call across APP team to support work-life balance Position Overview Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) to support a high-performing, multi-site surgical team across Brookwood, Princeton, and Shelby hospitals. This role will directly support three cardiothoracic surgeons and work alongside a team of seven to eight Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) . This is a dynamic role offering exposure to the full continuum of cardiothoracic surgical care- including first assist, pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative management.
