Our over 6,000 employees are all united by one mission: For the People.SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Employment Law department.This role is in-office 5 days per week with no flexibility to be hybrid or remote.ResponsibilitiesPrepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memorandaOrganize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendicesInterface with Administrative Agencies, including EEOCE-file court documents in federal and state courtPrepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responsesDraft and serve summonsCoordinate depositionsPrepare deposition and hearing binders and exhibitsDrafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the courtInterfacing with clients to keep them apprised of the status of their case and to obtain documents needed for discoveryGather relevant information from a variety of sourcesLiaise between the attorneys and internal/external third parties, including co-counsel, counsel for defendants, and the courtsRequirementsAssociate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred)At least 2+ years of working experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm settingCompletion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred)General Litigation Experience, preferably in federal courtApplicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practicesHighly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHourly Range$28.85 - $43.27 USDBenefitsMorgan & Morgan is a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful.
