Are you looking to kickstart your career in the carpentry trade? We are seeking a Carpenter Apprentice to join our team in Queens, NY. As an entry-level position, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced carpenters while working on a variety of construction projects. This is a great opportunity to learn technical skills, safety protocols, and contribute to real-world building tasks.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist in layout and preparation of projects and building specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plastic, and other materials with precision
- Help install structures, fixtures, and finishes such as windows, doors, flooring, and roofing
- Perform repairs and maintenance including framing, blocking, and finish work
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Required Skills:
- Certificate in carpentry preferred
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Understanding of construction methods
- Adherence to safety standards
- Experience with carpentry or construction
- Ability to read blueprints
Salary and Benefits:
