This is a Medsurg Unit that is blended. The unit has a thriving Swing Bed Program and occasionally cares for patients requiring a PCU level of care. Assignments are balanced based on nursing workload and patient care needs, with specific ratios for Medsurg, Swing Bed, and PCU assignments.
