BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Mease Hospital Dunedin in Dunedin! BayCare Behavioral Health at Mease Dunedin Hospital provides inpatient care in a safe and supportive environment, designed to promote healing and recovery. In this setting, patients have a therapeutic and comforting space to address emotional or psychiatric challenges. Our team helps all our patients find stability, hope and a path toward recovery. This program specializes in treating adults who need short-term, intensive behavioral health care in a structured environment. Patients receive compassionate, individualized care from a multidisciplinary team that focuses on stabilization and wellness. BayCare Behavioral Health at Mease Dunedin Hospital is a Baker Act-receiving facility. The Assistant Nurse Manager: Is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills. Is responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring , counseling and terminating process. Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) Nurse Specialty - preferred Required Education: Bachelor's in Nursing Experience: 2 year RN in an Acute, Post-Acute, or Sub-Acute Setting 1 year leadership experience Preferred Come join our wonderful team!
