Job DescriptionPhysical Therapist (PT)- Part-TimeKindred Hospital Philadelphia - Havertown and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 66-bed hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. With 57 long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital beds, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Similarly, our nine-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of acute injury, impairment or illness. We are located within a medical district close to Darby Creek and West Chester Pike expressway.Fundamental to providing great care is supporting and rewarding our team. Providing educational information to patients in regard to injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy and rehabilitation therapy. Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.Qualifications and requirementsApplicants should have a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.Additional requirements include:Licensed in the state of PABasic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 30 days of hireFundamental to providing great care is supporting and rewarding our team. Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modifications.Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress and plans for reevaluation.
