Fabrication/Mig Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:00am to 03:30pm)

Responsibilities:

•Fabricate and assemble metal components using welding and other metalworking techniques.

•Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.

•Perform quality control checks on welds and fabrication work.

•Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

•Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

•Use hand tools to shape, cut, and join metal components.

Fabrication/Mig Welder Qualifications:

The welding position qualifications for Curb Technologies are highly focused on fabrication and structural integrity.

The core requirements include: Experience: 1 to 2 years of practical experience in a manufacturing or production welding environment.

Welding Techniques: High proficiency in MIG welding, with TIG or Flux-Cored knowledge considered a plus. Must be capable of welding components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Blueprint & Layout: Strong ability to interpret engineering blueprints, welding symbols, and customer specifications.

Certifications: Current or previous AWS welding certifications are highly preferred, though the ability to pass an on-site, internal weld test is usually accepted.

Physical & Tools: Must be proficient with tape measures and precision measuring tools, and able to lift up to 50–75 lbs.
