Mascot Performer

This person is an enthusiastic entertainer that will bring Pointer to life at Wisconsin Herd home games and community events and appearances.

Perform as Pointer and all variations of character (e.g. Point-Air, etc.) during Wisconsin Herd home games, community events, and special appearances

Enthusiastically engage with fans at home games, creating an entertaining and welcoming environment for all fans and lifetime memories

Manage and maintain mascot equipment, including props and costumes, and other equipment needed for Herd gamedays

Work with Director of Game Production to create and execute schedule for in-game entertainment and group fulfillment to create a memorable and world-class experience

Represent Herd and mascot in professional, appropriate manner at all times, inside and outside the costume

Experience performing as a mascot highly preferred

Dance skills strongly recommended

Ability to perform in a costume for several hours at a time

Execute tasks on a tight timeline and under pressure

Energetic, friendly, humorous, and engaging personality that can create WOW moments on a 1-on-1 basis with fans

Ability to excite, empower, and entertain crowds

Creative personality with ability to quickly adapt and improvise to new situations

Attend gameday meetings and on-court rehearsals held prior to all home games

Knowledge of NBA G League basketball rules and regulations

Ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment

Ability to take direction, feedback and be professional at all times

Work a flexible schedule; evenings and weekends are required; possible Holiday games; has to be available for all HOME games

Familiarity with Wisconsin Herd, Oshkosh market, and Milwaukee Bucks
