ARDMS (AB) General Ultrasound Technician Full Time Days
Pay: Sign-on Bonus up to $6,000 Starting at $42.42
MLR is currently seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform various ultrasound procedures with a focus on delivering high-quality imaging and providing compassionate patient care.
Primary Responsibilities for an Ultrasound Technician:
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and review imaging results.
Qualifications for an Ultrasound Technician:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification by the ARDMS (AB) (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) is required to be obtained within the first year of hire.
- 2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technician (preferred, not required).
- Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and the use of equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
