Hotel Night Auditor

Job Description Gangelhoff Properties Inc. DBA Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Little Falls, Minnesota. Reports to Administrative Manager Audit Guest Service Position: 11 pm to 7 am Understand and train all audit reporting operations from Administrative Manager. Report daily audits with 100% accuracy to owner each shift via email. Keep laundry in process throughout the shift. Keep all workspace clean and organized. Maintain hotel security through all cameras and walking property each hour. Enforce pool closing and related rules for all guests. Train for all setup operations on Breakfast presentation and be ready for guests within 15 minutes of start of each breakfast day. Maintain consistency as trained, all check in and out procedures for all Guests. Answer phone in 3 rings whenever possible with approved greeting. Take messages from calling guests when busy and return calls. Understand and operate phone system properly. Provide input to Administrative Manager related to guest experiences. Train, understand and operate the Opera booking software program for all guest procedures. Count and balance your shift with appropriate cash drops at the beginning and end of each shift. Create a positive work environment by communicating daily with each member of the team before, during and at the completion of each day’s shift. Maintain the “Daily Log” on the computer for each person to read and update the day’s activities. Hours: Works primarily 11 pm to 7 am shift, weekdays, and weekends. Responsibilities Work well with others in team and individual settings. Manage daily laundry to replenish stock and fill shelves. Report any product shortages to Revenue Manager to maintain smooth function of laundry. Inspect and set aside stained laundry for extra treatment in wash cycle. Check and clean dryer lint traps each shift. Report any equipment or room malfunction to Maintenance or Revenue Manager each day/week as needed. Understand proper safety and fire procedures and what steps to take in the event of a fire or power outage emergency. Charge guest appropriate fees for pet, and related use by guest. Report immediately any suspicious use of illegal substances by guest to Revenue Manager. Respond to reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and act to satisfy each guest. Strictly adhere to rules regarding health and safety including any company-related practices. Requirements Work weekdays or weekends as needed, full or parttime. Understand and facilitate laundry process. Reliable: Work independently from other team members and prioritize overnight work routine to accomplish best results. Must wear work uniform and nametag provided by company. High standard of excellence in all areas of guest service and cleaning quality. Must be awake and alert throughout the entire shift. Ability to speak and understand the English language. High school degree and ability to learn and train in a multitasking and computer related environment.
