Role Overview Physical Therapists work in outpatient rehabilitation settings , focusing on musculoskeletal (MSK) care, sports medicine, and occupational health. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans, perform physical assessments, and provide direct patient care. Key Responsibilities Direct Patient Care: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal, sports, and occupational injuries. Treatment Implementation: Apply evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities. Collaboration: Work with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other specialists to develop and adjust treatment plans. Assessments: Conduct physical therapy evaluations to determine patient needs and progress. Documentation: Use ATI’s proprietary EMR and patient management tools to streamline workflows and reduce documentation time. Education & Training: Participate in structured mentorship, residency programs, and leadership training. Qualifications Licensure: Current state license as a Physical Therapist. Experience: Mid-level outpatient experience preferred; sports and orthopedic residencies or fellowships are valued. Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork abilities. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., sports medicine, orthopedics) are a plus.
