Shift Differential: $4.25/hr for Nights

• Base Pay: $27.72 – $39.60/hour.

• 10 Years of Experience: Up to $36.30/hour.

• 15+ Years of Experience: Up to $39.60/hour.

• Night Shift Differential: +$4.25/hour.

Join a 267-bed acute care hospital serving the Fort Walton Beach and surrounding communities. The facility offers advanced services including an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Cancer Care Center, open-heart surgery, 24/7 emergency services, pediatric emergency care, and a wide range of specialty services.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute care ER/ED RN experience required.

• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.

• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of employment.

• PALS certification required within 90 days of employment.

• TNCC certification required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in accordance with nursing standards and scope of practice.

• Assess and regularly reassess patient pain to support effective pain management.

• Perform nursing procedures, patient monitoring, and clinical functions as ordered by medical providers.

• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and care in the medical record.

• Respond promptly to patient needs and proactively address concerns.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide individualized patient care.

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up care.

• Explain complex medical information in an understandable manner.

• Provide education regarding disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and non-medication-based follow-up care.

• Advocate for patients and families while supporting a positive patient experience and quality clinical outcomes.
