This role supports daily operations by accurately handling stone slabs, remnants, and related products while maintaining inventory integrity and adhering to safety standards. Attention to detail, situational awareness, and a strong commitment to safety are essential to ensure materials are handled properly and delivered on schedule to support operational success.Essential ResponsibilitiesSafely load, unload, and transport slabs, remnants, and other materials using forklifts, slab handlers, pallet jacks, and other equipment.Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials in accordance with company standards and product-handling procedures.Prepare and stage materials for production, fabrication, or delivery to installation teams.Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, assisting with regular cycle counts and material audits.Handle materials carefully to prevent damage to high-value and fragile products.Ensure the warehouse and yard remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and equipment operation procedures at all times.Collaborate with warehouse, fabrication, and logistics teams to support efficient material flow and project deadlines.ExperienceRequiredMinimum 1 year of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a related field.Experience moving, storing, and handling stone slabs, remnants, or large-format materials required.Proven ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, A-frame dollies, and material handling tools.PreferredExperience working in manufacturing, stone fabrication, or distribution environments.Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.Skills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in material tracking and movement.Proficient in operating slab-handling equipment and warehouse machinery.Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and safely maneuver heavy materials.Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with other departments.Personal AttributesDependable, punctual, and safety-conscious with a strong sense of responsibility.Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Adaptable to changing priorities and production schedules.Professional and respectful demeanor with a focus on supporting company values and safety culture.Pay rate: $23-$24/hour plus benefitsIf you like working with a growing close knit team and helping home owners design the home of their dreams, come build your career with us!All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, individual with disabilities, veteran status, gender identity or national origin.
