Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing Area

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support industrial systems and equipment at a leading animal health products facility. This role is part of our Engineering and Technical Services team, which delivers preventive maintenance, repairs, and operational support to ensure reliable, high-performing facilities. The ideal candidate will bring basic experience or working knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance and repair and a strong desire to grow within a world-class organization. In this role, you'll play a critical part in maintaining operational excellence while developing your technical skills and advancing your career with CBRE. What You'll Do:

• Maintain production area/clean room mechanical systems
• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Interpersonal skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive attitude.
