Compensation The hourly base pay range for this position is $19.18 to $19.50 per hour plus tips with a $2.21 shift differential for overnight work. Work Schedule 11pm to 7am. Summary The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. The associate parks and retrieves guest vehicles safely, assists with luggage, and ensures a positive guest experience during arrival and departure. Essential Functions Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, coworkers, and clients. Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a friendly demeanor. Uses salutation of the day, welcomes guests to the location, practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette, and posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks. Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists with bell services and luggage storage; opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, and facility amenities, as well as main attractions in the area; delivers messages, items, and guest amenities as requested; shuttles guests to approved destinations. Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys; collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys; completes and maintains all ticket information, including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys, and claim check receipts. Consistently calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of application or a commutable location. Work experience: One (1) month related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes. Ability to read and write standard English, comprehend simple instructions, and write simple correspondence. Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and employees. Basic arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with a focus on U.S. currency. Understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems, applicable rates, and time calculations. Desire to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking. Working Conditions & Physical Demands The role requires regular talking or hearing, sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, running, handling tools or objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees may be required to lift up to 100pounds occasionally, 50pounds frequently, or 20pounds constantly. The majority of work is performed outdoors under variable weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Travel up to 5% may be required.
