Delivery Driver & Warehouse AssociateSML Medical Supplies is looking for an energetic, customer service oriented individual who is a team player to fill the position of a delivery driver & warehouse associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. The prospective candidate's responsibilities and duties will include (but not limited to) the following:Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, and the customer is satisfied.Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.Operates hand truck, cart, doilies, forklift, order-picker, and walkie to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items for shipment.Housekeeping duties including all forms of warehouse cleanupPlease note that this position will also occasionally include tasks pertaining to warehouse duties such as stocking, picking, shipping, etc.Qualifications and Skills Valid CA Driver License Experience as supplies Delivery Driver is a huge plus Clean driving record Ability to pass background check and drug test Strong customer service skills Must possess a positive and professional attitudeCompensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
