Job Details Job Location: Spine St. Marys - St. Marys, GA 31558 Front Desk Receptionist Position Summary Coastal Health Spine & Pain Center – St.Marys, GA is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. The practice is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, and the front desk team plays a vital role in creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion. Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling appointments. Check patients in and out efficiently. Verify insurance information and collect co‑pays and outstanding balances. Enter and update patient demographics accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Scan and upload documents into patient charts. Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous medical front office or customer service experience preferred. Experience with EMR systems and insurance verification is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced medical environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Dependable, team‑oriented, and committed to excellent patient care. Minimum 1-3 years experience in the medical field preferred. Multitasking, flexibility, telephone skills, customer service, time management, organization, attention to detail, scheduling, Word processing. Professionalism, quality focus, team‑driven attitude, and reliable transportation.
