What You'll Do Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets, shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department Assist in filling work/shipping orders Assist in performing inventory on material Assist in unloading and loading of material for customers Inspect outgoing material for accuracy Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization What You'll Need 1+ year(s) forklift / loader experience Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stretch, bend and use hands and fingers in repetitive motions Ability to multi-task and manage time required Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders Comply with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations Ability to be flexible, a team player and interact professionally with employees as well as external contacts Able to work overtime as business requires Your Education High School Diploma or GED preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
