Your attention to detail and reliability play a vital role in maintaining the property's standards of cleanliness and comfort.Job Description:Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesProvide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service cultureOperate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean and finish linens, towels, uniforms, and other items used throughout the propertySort, load, and unload laundry by fabric type, color, and level of soil; pre-treat stains as necessaryFold, stack, and distribute clean linens and garments to proper storage or usage areasInspect laundered items for cleanliness, damage, or wear and report issues to supervisor for replacement or repairEnsure laundry room and equipment is clean, organized, and maintained according to safety and sanitation standardsEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsAt least 6 months of laundry, housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferredAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a teamCommitted to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environmentRequirementsAt least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork CardsNonePhysical RequirementsRegularly push/pull up to 100lbsRegularly lift and/or carry up to 50lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsRegularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, twistConstantly standing and walkingAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in personAbility to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityWork Environment Potential ConditionsIndoorNoisySlippery surfacesExposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
