Job Title: Warehouse Packer 

Job Type: Full-time / Regular

Shift: 1st , 2nd & 3rd Shift availability 

Pay:  $16 + Opportunity for weekly bonuses

Location: Elk Grove & Bartlett

Job Summary

In this role, you will work on our fast-paced packaging lines to safely assemble, pack, and prepare food products and confections for shipment. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented environment, possesses a strong work ethic, and takes pride in maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Packing: Efficiently pack, wrap, and count finished food products and confections into cartons, boxes, trays, or specialty containers according to client specifications.
• Line Speed & Efficiency: Keep pace with high-speed automated packaging lines to ensure daily production targets are met.
• Quality Control: Visually inspect products and packaging for defects (e.g., misprints, damaged seals, incorrect counts) and immediately report discrepancies to the Line Lead or Quality Assurance.
• Food Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SQF Level-3 standards, and company safety rules to maintain a clean, allergen-controlled, and hygienic work environment.
• Palletizing & Staging: Label packed boxes accurately and stack them neatly onto pallets for the warehouse team to transport.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with line leaders, machine operators, and fellow team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience in warehouse packing, manufacturing, assembly, or food production is preferred, but we are willing to train dependable candidates.
• Language Skills: Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions in English or Spanish.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot quality defects quickly and accurately count items.
• Reliability: Strong attendance record and dependable transportation to job location.
• Flexibility: Willingness to rotate to different packing lines and work occasional overtime as production demands change.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive hand/wrist motions (grasping, reaching, lifting, and packing).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–30 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled facility (typically maintained around 65&degree;F for food safety).
