OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

First-Year OTE: $55,000–$75,000
Schedule: Full-Time | Outside/Field Sales
Experience: 1+ Year of Outside Sales Experience
Preferred: Contractor Sales | Kitchen & Bath or Similar Industry

JOB SUMMARY:

Our client is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build lasting customer relationships, grow existing accounts, and identify new sales opportunities.

This is a hands-on field sales opportunity focused on growing existing accounts, developing new business, and building long-term customer relationships . You’ll work directly with customers and decision-makers to understand their needs, recommend the right products and solutions, and become a trusted resource for their business.

Experience working with contractors, Kitchen & Bath, plumbing, building materials, industrial supplies, or a similar industry would be a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct face-to-face customer meetings and regular job-site visits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Grow sales, market share, and gross profit within the territory.
• Develop strategies to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Prepare and process sales orders, bids, and job information packages.
• Identify upselling, cross-selling, and value-added service opportunities .
• Resolve customer concerns, pricing issues, and material returns.
• Maintain customer profiles, call reports, and weekly sales plans.
• Partner with Inside Sales and other team members to support customers.
• Assist with accounts receivable and communicate potential credit risks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ year of outside sales experience required.
• Contractor-facing sales experience preferred.
• Kitchen & Bath, plumbing, wholesale distribution, building materials, industrial supplies, or similar industry experience is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
• Comfortable prospecting and developing new business in the field.
• Ability to independently plan and organize effective sales calls and customer visits.
• Strong product knowledge with the ability to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel .
• Ability to learn order-processing systems and warehouse material-handling equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record .
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• $55,000–$75,000 first-year OTE.
• Compensation includes base salary + commission .
