As a Registered Nurse in our Level II Nursery, youll provide specialized care for neonates during high-risk deliveries and throughout their stay. Youll collaborate with a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure the very best outcomes for babies and their families. Reporting to the Director of Obstetrical Nursing, youll combine advanced clinical skills with compassion, advocacy, and family-centered support./ph3What Youll Do/h3ulliDeliver safe, evidence-based care to newborns requiring special monitoring and interventions./liliParticipate in high-risk deliveries, providing immediate assessment and stabilization of neonates./liliAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for newborns and their families./liliEducate and support families through the emotional journey of special care./liliCollaborate with interdisciplinary providers to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care./liliDocument all findings, interventions, and outcomes clearly and accurately./liliCross-cover Mother/Baby and Labor Delivery units as needed./liliMentor colleagues and contribute to professional growth through preceptorship./liliStay current with continuing education, certifications, and evolving neonatal best practices./li/ulh3What You Bring/h3ulliGraduate of an accredited nursing program (Bachelors preferred)./liliCurrent Massachusetts RN license./liliBLS certification within 3 months of hire./liliNRP certification within 6 months of hire./liliPrevious neonatal or special care nursery experience strongly preferred./liliStrong critical thinking, assessment, and organizational skills./liliExcellent communication and customer service skills./liliComfort with computer systems and commitment to patient confidentiality./li/ulpCaring for newborns is more than a job its a calling.
